Community Education
PACT Community Education programs are designed to support parents. Our Evidence based programing shows that by strengthening parents and building protective factors around the family unit our children and our community will thrive.
Work Force Development
The Hand in Hand program is a DHR work force development program that operates in all 67 Alabama counties. The program provides services and work supports to parents receiving cash assistance (SNAP) to help them find and retain employment. Following an initial interview which involves individual and family assessments, the Hand in Hand case managers provide services directly or by referral to other agencies.
Parenting
PACT offers a variety of evidence based parenting curriculum in an effort to support parents who are working toward making better decisions that affect their children’s lives. Classes and workshops operate year round.
Family Centered Coaching
Family Centered Coaching is a holistic, strengths based, family lead program designed to assists families in achieving their desired goals. Case management, readiness assessments and goal setting are at the core of this approach.
